These flag banners were created during a 2022 summer internship for Project Chimps, a nonprofit animal sanctuary based in the Blue Ridge Mountains north of Georgia.

My first step in designing the flags was developing a color palette based on the recommended colors outlined in Project Chimp's brand guidelines.

From there, I created four different flag designs for each season, with multiple images of chimps to choose from as well, and presented them to my supervisors in a PowerPoint. My advisors selected my fourth design as their favorite, liking how it emphasized the photos of the chimps the most.

Now with my design focused, I moved on to the finishing touches. I adjusted my banner designs based on my advisor's suggestions, such as tweaking the summer color palette implementing their preferred chimp photos into the design, and adding name-tags for the chimps in each banner.
